Actually got called this by 2 pilots when i was flying the P40E in the DA for fun. Shot down a K4 and Nikki.

When I was new I actually did that (and maybe a few other times after I knew better)  but with this particular incident, Chewie called for troops so I brought a goon.  I ended up accidentally dropping 10 sets of supplies for the enemy to use after their VH came back up at the port we were trying to take.
