TY sir! I said the same thing about my 325i when I got it, and the X5 is def a step up from that....

My wife and I have had quite a few cars (3 Acuras, 7 Hondas, 8 Chevrolets (including 3 Corvettes), 2 GMCs, a VW, a Dodge, a Lexus, a Toyota, a Nissan, and 5 Triumphs between us) and I can say without a doubt that I agree with you 100%..... BMW is a class above.

Picturesque background :)

Shuff that was on Hwy 20 on the Santiam Pass, it was a beautiful day but the black ice was everywhere a real butt clencher going down it lol

George empty it gets about 9.38 mpg and loaded its around 6.47 according to the Cat on board fuel monitoring system but of course alot depends on how heavy my foot is and the load weight hehe

twin 120 gallon tanks will get me along ways down the road but costs an arm and both legs to fill lol

Wow, sweet. One of my biggest dreams used to be to drive one of those rigs, I used to be a truckdriver on the icy roads here in Norway some years ago. But have never sat behind the wheel of one of those.. American trucks, king of the road!  :rock  :salute

Here is our rig again with the bike loaded. We are parked in La Grande Oregon waiting for weather to clear a bit before heading up to the NE corner of the peninsula of Washington on Monday. We got an actual 8.01 MPG on the trip up from Tucson to Ontario Oregon where I fueled up. We took on 157 gallons of diesel. Ouch! Fortunately since we were just poking along at 61 MPH we got decent mileage. I took the shots from each side showing the weather and countryside.

That's cool Maverick . What are you doing just living on the road ? What are you using for a internet conection ? I am looking to do the same thing in a few year's . Been looking at VW busses to take the trip in . I was thinking about a new bike to make the trip in but I'm getting to old to sleep under the star's .
EDIT: And how in the world did you get the bike up on the truck like that ?
