Oh I thought it was a modded E300! Have you ever driven one?  anyways the German manufactors agreed on a speed limit thats electronically controled. IIRC it's 155mph.

   Still a nice benz.

   :salute

Thanks morfiend :)
Yes, I have driven a E300-24valve. It had alot more power than mine for sure. I might be swapping the engine in mine some day, but not for the 300. I can't upgrade it to a 6sylinder with approval from the authorities here, but a 2,3 or a 2,5-16valve might work. That would be a good enough upgrade for me. ;)

I drive a scion xb yes hatches are fun to drive because now a days they are so light that even an average size motor gives them decent acceleration. But hatchesbacks are cheap, the transmission is garbage you
Have to get a standard otherwise you will be at 6000 rpm watching it approach the red line and your screaming "SHIFT!!!"Oh BTW this happened twice today in justt poking around town. My little scion has a "auto shifter" where you push the gear lever over to it and then push it up or down to shift between pushing up on the lever and the gear changing i literally counted to 3the potatoes.

also the throttle garbage it goes to this little nintendo under the hood which causes at a minimum a 3sexondlot lag between pushing the pedal and the motor going vroom. -__-
Is the problem with the automatic only or with a manual too?

I think you'll find the car won't up shift by yelling at it either if you're driving a standard.

The throttle lag yes. The shift lag no because you control the tranny but the clutch is very stiff.

ahh mine is a 2010... They stopped making that color after the Japan incident.. Was actually some ingredient that came from some place in Japan for the color called Cyber grey metallic.. The new grey is called carbon flash or something.. Abit darker and not near as much blue flake..

The 2.5 16 would be the way to go!  I think it's Bahaus that makes a "kit" for that engine.  They did some saloon racing with the 2.5's so I'd bet their are plenty of performance parts for it. OR just put a blower on it,turbo or charger doesnt matter the bottom end on those are real stout!  the 3 liter 6 is even stronger!

Oh and DudeDVant, nice car! from your reflexion it looks like you need a shave.... :D
