Yea the sound that comes from those cars scream ghey!!!!!  And once they put one of those dreaded "wing" on them they look ghey too!!!!!!!!!!! :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :devil I had a kid pull up next to my Trans Am in a 4-door Hyunde or however you spell it reveing his sewing machine and wanted to race. He honestly thought he had a chance. I laughed so hard my foot slipped off the clutch and scared him. I told him he needed to put a wing on his car first for horsepower. The next thing he had to say made me just pull over, he said "really, will that work"!!!! What are they doing to these kids, they might as well drive a Prius!!!!

I love American Muscle. I do. Nothing will ever top it, but I had to quote this to remind some of you diehard folks that it doesn't need to be all muscle to win.

I've got two vehicles and I love them both, however; me being nice twice lead to bad things.

1.  Buddy got back from Iraq. I let him use my truck to move to his new base. The day he was bringing it back - he got hit by a Nissan Altima.

2. Three days later, I took a coworker home after work and on the way home (~1:30 AM) I hit three deer at the same time in my car.

Both have been out of commission since because I keep having a hard time getting money to fix them.  :(   I'm hoping to get the car fixed with my tax returns (only got 300 bucks, but my fiancee is pitching in and my mom offered to help). I'd rather fix the truck first, but the car gets better gas mileage.

Like, ya know, when that thing that makes you move, it has pistons and things, When your thingamajigy is providing power, you do not hear other peoples thingamajig when they are providing power.

Great thread, some sweet rides in here

Here's my money pit - the 'ol Terminator. Built engine by ProLine Race Engines Woodstock, Ga. 9:1 compression. Stiegemeire Stage IV port on the blower, 2.8 upper, 4lb lower, all the supporting mods, Spec 3+ clutch, intake, Bassani catted X pipe, Borla stinger catback and a bunch of other stuff that I probably don't need.  516 RWHP and 503 RWTQ.  Best 1/4 is 11.95 @ 124.46 but I can't drive very well (1.95 60') at the drag strip, ha ha.  Supposedly the record for a setup like mine is 10.9x @ 127 MPH somewhere up north at a very good track with low density altitude.  I'd like to put a 2.8L Kenne Bell on it at some point - because ya just need 650 RWHP in your daily driver - and I gotta keep up with the ZR1 and the new Vipers (only in a straight line!).

Here's my money pit - the 'ol Terminator. Built engine by ProLine Race Engines Woodstock, Ga. 9:1 compression. 007 Stiegemier Stage IV port on the blower, 2.8 upper, 4lb lower, all the supporting mods, Spec 3+ clutch, intake, Bassani catted X pipe, Borla stinger catback and a bunch of other stuff that I probably don't need.

Get her in the mid 500's and be happy, positives get real expensive pushing the 600+ mark (hard to keep the charge cool enough).  Of course running E85 would help tremendously in this area, but would require substantial fuel system upgrades for most of us.  Stiegemier did the port work on my 112 as well, I was the first vette 112 guinea pig he's ever tried.  If you ever meet him in person he's quite the character.  Good looking Cobra, don't let CAP read that from me though :lol

heres a couple pics of the stage 1 mods made to my ghetto ride

the wife says I am dumb :D was thinking about welding the rear doors closed and cut the top off even with the bottom of the rear windows and welding in a piece of sheetmetal to make it into a pickup truck which would bring it up to a stage 2 mod
