Between this and the Rock'em Sock'em Robots movie with Hugh Jackman, I'm waiting for Hungry Hungry Hippos to make it's way to the big screen.

Anything with Liam Neeson in it is to be approached with extreme caution.  He's a bigger movie ho then Sean Connery.  I don't think he's ever turned down a movie offered to him.

I was actually starting to get in to it until the thing jumped out of the water.  Everything from then on looked like nothing more than the whole Transformers fiasco...  Then it occurred to me when I saw the "Hasbro" logo in the end that this movie would be no different.  Same acting fail.  Same effects fail.  Same plot fail.

"Meh"... I'll wait until it goes to Red Box or maybe even Netflix.  I have no desire to spend $30+ to go see this in the theater with a friend.

One of these days they'll realize that CGI and 3D effects alone don't make a good movie anymore.  Crap is crap no matter how many computer effects are added.  The bar has been raised.

Why did they call this movie battleship?

I'm thinking WWI or WWII from the title but it's about some strange alien UFO thing....
