you really wanna know why we have the P-47M in game? because it saw service, was squadron strength, and was a big part of WW-2. same goes for any other airplane in here.

just because a plane has more kills than another doesnt mean it cant be in the game...duh...
Not really.  We have it because it was a "free" plane graphically speaking.  It uses the exact same geometry as the P-47D-40.

The P-47M played a part, but it was hardly a "big" part of WWII.

It was American.

Thats good enough for it to be considered a "big" part of WWII  :neener:

Have you been in the Late War Arena lately?  It's infested with 190s.

half of the reason i dont want to play much anymore, if its filled with runstangs, run90's and spits, well its just no fun...if they add a half-decent tank such as the StuG-III Ausf G or a pershing, or add the Yak-3/P47D-22 then it'd be worth it.

Yes they are.

But no one mentioned the Panzer 3,

So why you are mentioning it now is beyond me.

Out of curiosity, what should the MA be filled with?

Also, what is this board's recent fascination with the P-47D-22?  What would it bring to the game?

the panzer 3 chassis had 10mm less frontal armor i believe (not like it matters, panzers are split wide open by a can opener). also, the panzer 4 has skirts to dodge shaped charges. so there kinda different. the StuG III Ausf G. is built on a Pz-3 chassis.  thats why i brought up the panzer 3

So then you want a vehicle that's slower than what is currently offered with less frontal protection, in a variant in which the turret is not adjustable...  that will make you happy?

a vehicle that played a massive part in the battle of kursk, a vehicle thats just as good as the panzer IMO (there both split wide open with a toothpick anyways) and a vehicle that had over 3000 of them produced. not to mention it could potentially be harder to spot with a sillouhette lower than the panzer we have in game.

i believe it deserves its spot here. and its probably going to be the first tank destroyer in game if we do get it. it meets all the criteria to join the game. just a matter of modeling it.

First TD is the m18.

Edit: wait...that may not be true. I think the m3 with the 75mm is considered a TD. thus would make it the first.

we dont know if we got the M18 yet. and the M3 with the 75mm isnt really considered a tank destroyer.
