trinity map
« on: September 20, 2011, 03:35:30 PM »
Hello all,
Don't post much these days because i don't have the time with work and things. But, i have to vent my frustration with the Trinity map. I remember when this map was released, there were double the amount of players, and tank town was in use. What would make this map better is lowering the mountains by 10k or so, if that is possible.
My other option is play a different room, but i like the late war and chatting to other players which you can't do in other rooms because they are allways empty.

HTC as a long standing member i plead with you to remove this map.. pretty please

I got an idea for a map lets put all the bases in the rear. Make the gv spawns 20min drives except for 1 you fight over,so you can camp with 100 tanks. WTH, lets top it off with 20k mountains as barriers surronding the forward bases. Oh boy this map sounds fun.

I've been tould we have new player submitted maps for the MA. Isn't it time to throw one into the mix and retire another. I mean take it out behind the barn and put it down.

Gver's piss and moan about being harassed by bomb****s....Trinity has an area designed exACTLY to address that.....none of them goes there. That was the only thing I ever liked about it...the arrangement of the mountains negates a lot of fighting, as you have to hit 20k to pass into enemy territory, save a few places

trinity is the place where I bomb more gv's than any other map.  it takes me 5 minutes to get there with a heavy pony.  or I can up and shoot other tanks like hell.  it has the best of both worlds.

I think it's a good map.

Only the people lacking in tactical sense and motivation suffer on that map.

With all due respect Sir, Trinity map is one the best in game. High mountains provide great opportunity for high altitude fights, since the trend in AH is fight low as possible near fields.

And im a Bishop not a rook altitude monkey.  :D

Please leave Trinity as is.

PS Btw thanks for the great skins that you have provide for the game

So what exactly is wrong with Trinity?

The only thing I can suggest for Trinity is to move the vehicle bases CLOSER in the tank town area so they blink quicker.  There is a reason that vile spawn camper paradise spot near V135 is used instead of the TT: ease of entering action.  I for one would really like to see the TT in Trinity be used just like the other major TT we have on another map.  The terrain is PERFECT for tank battle (town in center, light trees, gentle contours, long sight plains, etc), but for some odd reason the circle jerkers gravitate towards V135.

Trinity is fine.  If HTC needs to get rid of any map it is that fiasco of a map called Mundanao.  There is nothing balanced about that map.

I thought the spawns in Trinity's TT were pulled further back intentionally to lessen the frequency and prevalence of spawn campers....    :ahand

Yes, that's what I was trying to say in an nutshell. I'm not trying to get this map replaced, and my barn comment was probably about Madanao.
I also thought the same thing about revamping TT and spawn points. I'm sure someone at the office could do that in a matter of hours.

The way the map is now it's just stalemate for a week. Unitll a big enough horde gets on a roll, or is reset.

And that explains why it's never used. It's too hard to get kills in a GV and not see combat.
