There there

I merely suggest that your technique will stagnate if you continue along your present path and you will inevitably end up like some of the poor trapped souls at the DA lake: extremely good shots and dangerous when picking along with two or three wingmen and an altitude advantage, but a quivering target if you ever catch them alone even remotely co-E.

If you deferred the instant gratification of taking every shot you have and abandoned your Kodak Instamatic point and shoot flying, you might discover the joys of ACM. A good piece of shooting is best performed at the end of a good bit of flying and not the other way around.

The path I propose is harder, longer, more fraught with frustration & hardship, and if you have a fragile ego considerably more painful. Perhaps it is ultimately more rewarding. Who can say?

However, it is, as they are fond of saying, your $15 after all.  :salute

Don't be that guy who makes threads bragging about killing someone else.  Be that guy who other people post about killing.

If AKAK says he went AFK to grab a drink then he did. I've known him for years, never heard him make an excuse for getting shot down.

I directed that statement to Midway.  He seems to start a lot of threads like this.

I'm sure AKAK doesn't get the inclination to post whenever he kills Midway, whether Midway was AFK or not.

Most of the better sticks on this game, are confident enough to teach, you without feeling like you might then get an edge over them. They teach you because they crave the hard fight, not run from it & they really hope you'll get good enough for a lengthy 1:1. I killed Mir the other day. He's a good stick. I killed him because 2 others were after him, he had just smoked one, then 2nd was on his 6, and he lost sight of me for a couple seconds, lost E, was inverted, right in front of me after a hard climb....had to shoot. I killed him because he was out numbered. Not because I was superior in any way. Oh yes I still got JAZZED! after all I killed Mir.  :x  :rofl

wtg, I know the feeling... I remember first time I got DrBone in my 2nd month.  Was great.   :x

But, I do want to get an edge over them....  :ahand     It should be possible, just have to  :headscratch: figure it out.  Getting better each tour so far.

Perhaps he did, perhaps just another excuse.  :)

Wow, this is really a none story.  I guess if there is any story here, it's that guys get real proud of shooting down AKAK, apparently afk or not.  Kudos AKAK... :rock

Yes, but is he short?  Does he Love ice-cream like the one in Bill & Ted's? Does he walk around with his hand in his jacket & wear his pirate hat sideways?  :D

Did you know the pose in the famous portrait of him with his hand in his jacket is actually a masonic signal?
