Bombers Loop on the Ground
« on: September 21, 2011, 09:13:16 PM »
I can't figure out what's wrong with my joystick settings. If I fly a bomber, any bomber at all, it will loop counter clockwise on the ground unless at full throttle. It doesn't happen in a fighter, but when I jump in a bomber, it does. I unplugged my stick then threw on auto take off with the mouse, and everything was fine. When I tried it again with auto take off, unless I went full throttle, it continued to loop. Very weird.  :headscratch:

I thought controls for bombers and fighters were the same, so if I'm looping in a bomber, shouldn't I loop in a fighter too? But I'm not. I don't want to have to unplug my stick every time I take off in a bomber.

P.S. Once in the air, everything turns normal.
P.S.S. If I even go a tiny bit under full throttle, it will loop, slowly and then quicker as I throttle down even more.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

Just the default Mode 1 Planes and Mode 2 for vehicles. But I use the same settings for VEhicles and planes.

Nope. My stick is a Saitek Cyborg V1 if that matters.

Sounds like you may have RPMs assigned to only one engine.  Leave RPM's unassigned and assign the throttle to engine 1 only and see what happens.

That fixed it! Thank you.  :)
