Time frame is of great importance as to inspiring movies. In the 40s it could be a John Wayne war movie. Today it could be Bruce Almighty.

Depends on conditions at the time and the situation one may be in at that time.

But I rate movies by shoot outs, girly scenes, and car chases, if it has planes in it and they use the right sounds for the engines on takeoff all the better.
