BF3 beta soon?

If you have origin you should be getting an update, I was reading through the stuff and it said in game support for BF3 beta so I guess it is pretty soon.


nvm early access confirmed for the 27th and regular open beta on the 29th

Anything on when consoles will be getting the beta? mainly ps3?


From the reports ive seen, its saying Graphics wise the Ps3 is giving the PC version a run for its money.

So far from the vids and gameplay shown, in the graphics compartment its going pc/ps3>360.

actually it was mainly developed for the PC, consoles are getting dimmed down way more than PC on this game
they almost didnt make it for consoles

Im aware of that.

But lens of truth released a article stating the ps3's graphics were almost on-par with pc's, and that in some cases the ps3 even had better lighting&textures than the PC version.

it really depends on the PC,when I had my old graphics card the PS3 blew it aside. When I got my new ATI card i wondered why I even spent $300 on a PS3 when I could of bought the card for like $150. Any newer computer could easily make the PS3 nonexistent

Be aware that you're comparing a 5 year old system with a brand new computer. You have to admit, for being 5 years old, it has more then decent graphic capabilities. And $300 > $1000 computer, which probably won't run all games on max, and you're going to need to keep updating it to keep playing games at a better quality then a console.

computer total right now is $750 . and yes it does,ive had my PS3 and still like it.I usually dont play FPS games on it but I like to play stuff like Assasins Creed though

Both consoles have been hacked. The difference is that Xbox Live was hacked many times for short periods, and PSN was hacked once for a long period. Either way, both consoles are great, overrated, and severely outdated.

Thats sorta true,

XBL was hacked back in 07 and shut down for 2 weeks due to it, in which 150,000 accounts info was leaked.

The difference between when it happened to PSN, and when it happened to XBL, is that the media didnt pounce on XBL the way it did PSN.
