It actually can.  I've played both dodo box and ps3.  Ps3 is far better =)

Yes actually it does, I just got done playing the beta. Looked great.  You should know tho that Dice never shows its full hand in just the Beta. Like bc2's beta, thwe graphics you see in it are NOT the full games graphics.

Sadly tho, theres 2 big problems with the beta.

1. they gave BF prone. this is horrible. with the maps being so big, its easy for campers to hide in prone positions and never be seen.

2. COD campers have invaded BF. my first game on metro was nothing but campers in prone using the LMG bi-pods.

as amazing as BF3 is, Having prone in it can seriously break this game.

After seeing that you can go prone in BF3, that's my biggest fear to gameplay because I really like the fact that you can't go completely prone in BFBC2.. I guess I'll wait and see what people think before diving into this game (as awesome as it looks on the surface)

Feel free to play the beta yourself.  Its available for download now on both consoles, and is an open beta for everyone right now.

Its extremely fun, even with the prone. plus people can no longer "dolphin dive" like they did in bf2. The guns have realistic recoil. (The ak74M is impossable to aim properly when going full auto) plus the destruction possible is awesome.

Ive had more fun playing the beta for 5 mins than i ever did playing BLOPS.  :aok

I am already in it on the PC and just got in today with my XBL password. Google is your friend.

Well if you bought the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor last year you got in the Alpha and the Beta with a code....like several thousand already have...myself included. Or you can go to what used to be EA Store (now Origin) and download it with a code you might be able to find online.

Thats a negative ghostrider...the prone is fine and after the campers miss with the first few shots you just follow the rounds or snipers getting the sun flare off their scopes and its game on.

Are you talking about the beta or BFBC2? I own both consoles and have a copy of the game for both consoles. Xbox wins.

Thats with scopes, and from what ive read, the flare is only for rifle scopes.

It doesnt effect LMG prone campers using the bipod. which is what ive ran into at every corner. Mix that in with the low lighting and its a nightmare of camping.

If BF didnt have prone it wouldnt be a problem, but as stated prone could break this games MP.

wow...not 20 minutes ago my mom won a free PS3. i have to say it SUCKED. (flame suit on) the internet lags like crazy and the controller IMO is a really poor design. but i have to say that the graphics are on the same level for Xbox and PS3. if you really wanna get pissy about your consoles, do it in PM's. ive seen waaaay to many game threads ruined because of console wars. as far as BF3 goes, i think its going to really kick CoD in the ass  when it comes out. (gameplay wise)

nades are your friend tyrannis. i always pop 1 or 2 into a room before going into it. like the ruskies did in stalingrad. boom, boom run pop pop pop. dead camper (whine whine whine from the camper) you sit in your chair luaghing at him for being stupid and noobish.

in the PC version you can idk about the consols though. i dont play FPS games on consols.
