So stopping some one in AHII from buying $100.00 headset that is clearly defective is lame?

Rather have our community know about this lemon & not drop $100.00 of hard earned cash.

Most people wont look for every thread about this item so if I cover them all buyer beware at that point they have been warned.

Lets speculate.... How many sets of these headsets have been sold since the start of this thread over a year ago? hundreds, thousands? and your the first to come in dragging all of these up posting the same reply "Cheap & broken after a few months don't buy them." Some people have gotten a bad set of CH pedals where a wire gets pinched. It happens. Call the company and ask for a replacement, or refund, but pounding the boards like a spoiled little girl isn't going to help you with that $100.

First off I have contacted the company & under warranty I will be taken care of hopefully? Also there is an issue with the this headset & I am not the only one who has reported it out of the thousands that have been sold. The issue with them is that it takes time for the defect to occur in my case almost 9 months.
A $100.00 dollars is not that big a deal to me I am fortunate enough to have hardly been touched in this economy others in our community have left the game as they can't even justify the $15.00 a month to keep playing.

So if one person thinks twice about buying this headset & keeps them in game rather than pulling out of AHII I would say well worth putting my two cents in on a few threads on the BBS.

If you don't like it mute me forever on the BBS. :aok

lyric i think one thread where it's mentioned that the headsets arent really that good is enough.  I noticed that in newegg comments right away.  and it's really bad because i just broke my other set.

Earforce X11 by turtle beach...had them 2 years & like them a lot. They're not $100 headphones, but I nearly always can hear exactly where the approaching GV is down to 5-10 degrees. I have lobbed shells toward the noise & been told by Storch my round landed right next to them.  :rock I know that's the sound card & realtek virtual headphones, but I like it a lot.  :salute
