My daughter bought a Turtle Beach headset. Sent it back for warranty service. Took weeks to get a response. They never contacted her. She talked to them repeatedly. Finally, after three promised shipping dates had passed they sent her a replacement.

It was skuzzy's <----- fault.
We just witnessed a miracle and I want you to @#$%^& acknowledge it!
I have Turtle Beach HPA2's and enjoy them.
One thing i would recommend is to get a good sound card with gold plated connectors and use that along with a good headset. These are teh headsets I want to get when i get the money for them. http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/headset.htmlI already have the SB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102033 and the sound is awesome. My current headset is OK but I want to get more out of it but it is ok.Lawndart
+1 unfortunately it looks like they recently discontinued the HPA2. I was until recently using the AKR8 which is identical to the HPA2 except with a USB interface. Those were discontinued a long time ago. I recently got a great deal on a used (like new) HPA2 and have been enjoying it ever sense! Really it's about the same except before I had a very slight stutter when I hit my vox button and that is now gone.I really can't recommend anything BUT Turtle Beach as they are comfortable and the sound quality is very nice especially for the price! It appears the HPA2 has been replaced by the Z6A. I'd be curious as to how these are (could be better or could be worse). Looks like they are about $90 with shipping through amazon (CLICK HERE) or about $110 directly from Turtle Beach.EDIT: It looks like you can still get the HPA2 under the "HPX" name. It's about $85 with the cords and all with shipping: http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/tournament-series/ear-force-hpx.aspx
Cheap & broken after a few months don't buy them.
oh good we're going to drag up every old thread you can find, kinda lame if you ask me. So you got a "lemon". Grow up and move on.
