I was there today, on Parliament Hill, in Ottawa... blazing heat. Full dress. If anybody was there or has seen some DECENT footage of the service/march-past, my band is the one with the big feather bonnets with the white hackles, and the plaids.
I was swimmingin myown sweat by the end. But honestly, it was worth it. To be able to pay respects to the officers that keep me safe in that way...
to all of our Police and peace officers, and those who are not Canadian as well.
