Bigger picture in the signature
« on: September 27, 2011, 05:34:51 PM »
I wish we could put a bigger picture in the signature. Most other forums let people do that, would be great if we could as well.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for a wallpaper size picture in the sig, just something around 200px (instead of 80px).

I don't want a slower forum, not to mention it would be more work for Skuzzy. What is allowed and not allowed.

I'm content that they allow a picture at all.

im fine with the 80x80 pixel size we have now. maybe some more space for characters in the sig instead?

if your pic in your sig isnt 80x80 you can enlarge it in paint so it is 80x80.

I'm not saying I want a wallpaper size picture in there. I'm thinking like 200px.

It's horizontally 80px, I can't enlarge it vertically to 80 because it would look wired.

I don't have any pictures of it wile banked. All pictures taken from the ground would all be wider than tall.

This picture is not the reason why I made the thread. There were a whole bunch of pictures that I wanted to put in there in the past few years but because they would be unidentifiable (when so small) I could not do that. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's have these problems.

Increasing the height allowed for the picture means more scrolling, I think 160-200 px horizontally would be nice.

Forums are for sharing ideas through text and relevant images. Signatures with huge pictures would detract from the thread and be a nuisance...at least for me. It would get to the point that I'd actually start marking certain people as "ignore all posts from this person".

I do that anyway with the current avatars.

That's what I hate about other forums, their sigs take up half the page so they can post 2 words. :furious

I wouldn't mind a little larger avatars with a larger filesize limit...
