I didn't see any cockiness out of the Phillies at all.  Rollins said "we can't lose" but I think the tone in which that was sad was more of just a confident comment based on how much they had been through together as a team.  Phillies are a stand up team.  I'm glad Carpenter made them look like fools though.

Phillies are a stand up team indeed. They could have played the last couple of games in the season easy as they had clinched. But they played all out and allowed the Cards to slip into the playoffs. I think they would have rather played Atlanta, but their manager is old school.
