As somebody suggested, get to know the snakes and reason why are they coming to your property, which in most cases is food and/or shelter. Remove those and snakes will be gone too.

If all else fails, purchase half a dozen of kingsnakes (pet stores). They'll get rid of rattlesnakes for sure.

now if they showed snake on snake deathmatches (not caused by humans...) on animal planet, id watch that. a 3 foot snake eating something 2x larger? INSANE! :rock

ya it was crazy, thats where the "King" snake gets his name, from eating other snakes....

same with the King Cobra, he eats other snakes almost exclusively.

jeez...sucks that i dont get to see that too much up here. just imagine a king cobra vs a kingsnake. :O

you can probably tell im not the most educated on snakes :lol kind of stupid when we get right down to it. but ask me any question about a cougar...i'll have an answer... :noid

So if I'm out at night and encounter a cougar should I buy her a drink or wait for her to make the fir... oh wait you were talking about the FOUR legged kind weren't you?

Just thought of something else that might work. Get a mongoose, that'll probably kill all snakes on your property.

just one is not gonna cut it, yes they kill snakes but they attack them as a pack not singularly.

how would a mongoose bike get rid of snakes? i have one and i have to say, it never repelled any snakes for me :D

well, the crazed family i live with they have probably already prepared me for such a thing. not to mention i was in cougar capital for 13 years of my life.  :bolt:

Best snake remedy I have seen, and it works!

#1 - dress up as jackie chan
#2 - Tie a headband around your head
#3 - Find a sword, the sharper the better
#4 - Run toward a snake screaming your head off
#5 - proceed to cut it up into tiny bits
