Went there a few years ago when I was down for the convention.  Pretty cool.  Too bad there were in the middle of restoring their -4C hog, boy would that be a perked monster :O. Get pics of it for me please :D.

Just called ahead. Fifi is in town. So, if all goes well in the morning, I'll be heading over that way after I get some cooking prep done.

Was there during the early summer this year, before it got so damn hot.  FiFi wasn't there, but still worth it.  Be sure to take the "shuttle" over to the auxillery hangar to see their B24 inside and out.  I really enjoyed seeing the He111 and the merlin engined Bf109; but boy, that merlin engine really does ugly up a normaly sleak looking airframe.  If I wasn't already booked for one of lil'metals cub scout events I would join you.
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

Here's 200+ pics.  I took a couple of family shots of people while I was there because I've been feeling strangely 'nice' today.  Don't know what's wrong with me.  Perhaps a good night sleep will get me sorted.

BigRat... they had your hog in a corner sans engine so the angles S-U-C-K-E-D but I did the best I could for ya bro.

Warning.. these are not resized.  If you open a thumnail you're going to get a 3008 by 2000 pixel image so it might take a bit of time on a slow connection.

*edit.. got to do some stuff to my hosting site.. back in an hour or so

*edit two.. grrrrrr... I'll post some pics of Fifi later...

Warning these are EXTREMELY large pics (3000 X 2008 pixels) so, if you're on a slow connection, you might want to think twice about clicking on the link

Poor ole FiFi still looks rough inside...  it pains me to see it.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

One of these Saturdays we should get a group of us  from around the DFW area to have a little get together there. I usually go once a year it's been two years since my last trip.

I'm up for it... :aok  The B29 and B24 are out of town for the next month.  Got to talk to the pilot for a bit which was very interesting.
