Score Observation
« on: October 01, 2011, 08:37:12 AM »
I noticed that if my score ever enters the top 1000 it means I am doing something wrong.  Perhaps flying with reservations or too many perky planes (not challenged maybe).

Relatively speaking, I noticed also the higher my score is the funner the game is.

Nope.  Not trying to tell anyone how to fly.  :old:  Just something I noticed with me.

I keep a look at my score cuz it makes the game interesting. just my opinin though. Granted I do not live by my score or contemplate suicide if I lose a 262, just gives the game someting extra.

 :airplane: Score Happens

When you enjoy playing with all the different types of aircraft and vehicles that AH has to offer.

When you enjoy participating in  team oriented activities like taking or defending bases and pure fighter sweeps.

When you set your plane up in the proper mode for the task at hand.

:old: Using score to track your progress can be very challenging and fun but if you let it take over your game it will surely ruin it. It's pretty easy to manage score without worrying much about it by pre-setting all your planes to either Attack or Fighter mode depending on what you use it most for. Just set it and forget it or manage them properly if thats what interests you

So are you implying that Bruv, ToneyJoey, Grizz, Lusche and others who are highly ranked are pushover's in a fight or fly timidly?  Are you saying if you were more careful you'd be right there with them?  I can assure you they are not timid flyers.

The real trick is to have a good score without timidity so, you are still doing something wrong; You're dying too much or not playing the whole game.  When you can fly into an outnumbered situation and live to tell about it your score will go up (down) and you'll have even more fun that you do today.

I would have the best score out of anybody in the game and could beat any of you in a 1v1 if my stick wasn't messed up  :noid

how to pad your score with style  (this is all personal experience)

step 1: accquire a 262
step 2: find a nearby enemy base
step 3: de-ack base
step 4: get downed by a manned gun 2k out

result: epic score.

Score has never mattered to me but i do keep an eye on hit % and K/D ratio.I find that to be the best way to track my progress in game.
