Funny thing is, I only had one comment about BAR himself and 0 about his squad. I had a private conversation with Joach1m cuz his "plans" changed in a matter of mins. A private convo turned into BAR spewing in General. For once, I actually did very little to make him explode. On that note Im gonna make a like a Pony and  :bolt:

So a player chooses to join another squad instead of yours, and you PM the other squad's CO about it? Sounds like jealousy to me.

The squad is recruiting, they like flying with us, we like flying with them, and they decided to join. Sorry.

That being said, there is a reason why there is a squelch feature, BAR :aok

last night i have found out that inviting pilots into a squadron = massive insults behind my back by a certain player just because they dont like what the outcome was...

so i've got a question for all of you. Is there any problem for people to choose one squadron from two or more squadrons to join? last time i checked there wasn't. Is there also a problem for a pilot to fly american iron and not german in a game? apparently last night both of these questions' answers are that they are severe problems and deserve private insults (not even to me whom i was the target of said insults but to another pilot).

Comments on this? :headscratch:

I think the biggest mistake folks make is throwing open the door to anyone that wants in.  It tends to backfire or implode.  My impression from the squads that stick around is that folks get to know each other a bit, then find the right fit.  Smaller is better and you grow from there.  Getting too big, too fast leads to problems.

I think if you look around at many squads that have lasted a while, they don't actively recruit but always seem to have a halfway decent group of folks representing them
