Any of us 60's kiddies remember Rat Patrol, Combat, 12 O'Clock High, Garrison's Guerrillas and any number of WW2 themed shows.  Of course we were running around with toy Tommy Guns too :)

Combat! was the best of the bunch in my opinion.  Where's the Sarge when you need em?

Don't expect too much from Rat Patrol,it was pretty cheesy back then and I doubt it's aged well.

Agreed Dan Combat was the best of them followed by 12 O'clock high, even with the 51 footage that they continually showed attacking the 17's.Of course we were kids then and it didn't matter, every Friday night the call would go out"combats on in 5 minutes"

what? rat patrol was great man...or i was too young to care about the quality  :headscratch: those jeeps with the 50 cals jumping across the sand dunes were awesome to me. always wanted to try that stunt but was too afraid of busting my face on the m2 receiver assembly.   :lol

i wish netflix had baa baa black sheep...  :frown:

I used to catch Combat! late at night in the 90's.  For   my generation it was  Tour Of  Duty on tv and that was about it  except  reruns or Rat patrol.

i always watched the Rat Patrol and Combat, Garrison's Guerrillas any John Wayne movies all during the 60's and 70's no matter what we were doing we always made sure we were planted in front of the TV to watch them.  i really liked the opening when the Jeep came flying over the sand dunes guns a blazing, those were the good times and days for sure.
