Playing Nothing Else Matters on an electric guitar through a fender 100w Amp set at 4 in a 1 bed trailer is not a good way of ensuring your wife gets up.

It may have been a little bit loud.

Sorry, bored here, and found it amusing personally.

Snugs, I like the way you think - no drummer for the bell effect unfortunately (natural harmonic just dont cut it)

Selino, AC/DC one of my favourite bands to listen to, jam along with and play out live.

I can feel a rousing rendition of "Fuer Frei" coming on. I may be some time if she gets up lol.......

Had a neighbor who used to let her dog out at aprox.6AM every morning.

There was only about 15 feet separating our 2 houses.

The little yip yip dog would immediatly start yipping and continue for aprox 20 minutes. EVERY morning.

I asked her several times to please put the dog out later or SOMETHING.

I was ignored.

Soooooooo, one morning I set a microphone up in the window and recorded the little rat dog barking.

That evening around 11 oclock , I drunkenly wheeled my Marshall stack up to the window and repeatedly played back the yip yip on "11".

Problem solved.

"Apparently" a guitar amp can be a very versitile tool!! Alarm clock...dog repellent.......etc.

Why not just get a bell?  :D  There is a carillon manufacturer very close to my thatch roofed hut.  I wonder what one of the bigger ones cost. 

Always loved bells in rock songs for some reason.  "Truth Hits Everybody" by The Police and "Bottle of Fur" by Urge Overkill are two other songs that also use bells for a cool effect.

Years ago, I worked for a commercial window cleaning company and had to tie back to the bell tower area of the Philadelphia Inquirer building. There are three huge bells up there and you absolutely did not want to be up there when they went off.  :uhoh

Boner, had a guy who lived above me who had a "noisy" girlfriend - by noisy I mean a screamer. Recorded her one day, set it to some music (gotta love you can mix things on a puter real easy)

Next time I saw her, gave her a cd with it on and told her she'd like it, but to play it loud

She never spoke to me again for some strange reason. Mind, every time I saw the guy who lived above, he started laughing.
