Here`s few flags.I have around 20 various flags,pennants,banners.

NSRL Parade flag

Early Pennant from a sports event. Front and back

Large banner over 13ft

This small flag would have hung on the back of a pleasure boat.

Nice.

I need to take some pics of the National Socialist items I have and share as well.  All I really have is some Nazi money (1941, I think), an untouched 1943 k98 made by Mauser, and an untouched 1944 P38 made by Walther.

For Japanese items, all I have is a 6.5mm Arisaka w/ mum intact (1937, iirc), a mint condition "Manchurian Incident" medal w/ original case, and a tiny tea cup that has the name of a retired Japanese army colonel on the bottom that was a gift to the colonel from the army when he retired in 1942.

I am not attracted to nazi memorabilia but those appear to be high quality items.

I wonder what would someone say if they walked into your house...

... better yet, if you were getting robbed, they would probably walk straight out freaked...

Yeager, I am attracted to them because they are apart of probably the most monumental time of modern history. Regardless of its affiliation

That is the thing, most people freak out and give a knee jerk reaction thinking that the collector is a sympathizer or admirer of the memorabilia that has been accumulated. They fail to understand the historical complexity or value in owning such items.

Not knocking the collection (great stuff!), but why do most people I've seen who collect WWII stuff only seem to collect Nazi stuff? Whenever I go to a collection auction looking for WWI and WWII stuff, it 95% Nazi medals, daggers, and badges with the odd everything else thrown in. I think there's more Iron Crosses and Knights Crosses for sale at my local antique shop than there are surviving recipients of our Medal of Honor (which is 85 at the moment).
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

We have an Arisaka Type 38, IIRC. Very pretty gun, in prestige condition. Of course the rising sun is grinded off, but its a very pretty gun. I'm not too sure if I'd ever want to shoot it though.
