TO: KrupCake
« on: October 09, 2011, 02:37:22 PM »
Dear KrupCake:

The Texas Rangers would like to wish you and the Phillies a wonderful winter and especially to Clifford Lee, a wonderful hunting season.  It is a long, cold winter and that should give you and your Phillies plenty of time to decide who will be bought at the baseball winter meetings.  Speaking of winter meetings, the Texas Rangers would like to invite YOU as their personal guest.  They have enrolled you in a baseball class that includes the topic of "which teams to play for if you wanna win a ring" but, unfortunately, the Phillies aren't on that list.

Again, best wishes and enjoy the winter from the Texas Rangers and they sincerely hope you enjoy Cliff and all of that wonderful Fall television.  Popcorn anyone?

Whats baseball?

Is that the "sport" where a bunch of over paid men stand around on a field in the sun while a couple of guys play pass? Is this the "sport" where all the players run for the dug-out when it starts raining?   :devil

Hey, don't forget where Lee played in 2009.  :neener:

Since the D-Backs were knocked out also, I've been forced to root for my #3 team, the Rangers.

Oh yea, how'd those Astros do this year?

I hate the astros...and Lee made it to the world series last year...this year he made it to the first tee time.

(shhhhh...this is one of those people who poops on baseball because he doesn't understand it).

Ummm, play pass?  I am guessing you mean pitch the ball to a catcher while someone tries to hit the ball.  If that is what you mean, yes.  I would love to see Fug in the box with someone throwing 70 much less mid-90's...we might actually see him wet himself....all while his Dad is yelling, "you better stand in that box FUGY!!!!!!!!!!!!...DON'T BE AFRAID!!!!!!!"

There is no greater skill in any sport than trying to hit a baseball... :rock except hitting a puck on the move on ice...and making it go EXACTLY where you want it to.
