Fun ride. Got 2 kills right off the bat. Very quick, as predicted turret's easy. Killed the M-16 right before he turreted me.  :aok  Thanks AH & HTC

M18 is an insane ride! I've had a few sorties in it and every sortie has been a multi-kill sortie. Landed 10 in it tonight. I think the only time I got killed was a plane edged me while I was sitting still. I may be enjoying it more than bar lol

Just for you I confirmed that a Spitfire Mk Ia can turret the thing relatively easily.

Shouldn't really come as a shock to anyone... its open topped, and lightly armored.  Its advantage is speed and firepower.  It isnt made for the typical tank slug fest... its not a camper.  Its made to be on the move and to outflank the heavier tanks. I watched WWhiskey outflank slower heavier tanks with it yesterday.  He was behind them before they could even swing around their turrets and BOOM... they were dead.  But dont expect to take more than one hit in it... from anything.

All in all its a cool new toy... and its going to add a new dimension to the ground war.  Campers beware... if you arent careful, this thing will be behind you before you know it.  Just dont drive it right up the middle and think that speed is going to save you.

I totally agree on its speed and firepower! I was in a King Tiger yesterday with no less than 14 tanks within 2k. 9 of them were M-18's. I did get multiple kills but, i didnt get a chance to land them hahaha! Before i knew it 3 of them were within 800 of me. At that distance it was just a matter of time.

The M-18 in the proper hands will prove to be deadly to any tank we have now or what we may get in the future.

OK, everyone's read all the obvious shortcomings, most before it was even added. The M-16 last night had to have shot 500 rounds at me before turreting me. It is fast, climbs better than a T-34/85, has adequate firepower, & fun at first ride...? I believe more V-bases will be stolen, more towns taken down before the enemy responds, more ambushes will be set-up quickly, etc.. We'll see, that's for sure.  :salute

What part of your M18 was he hitting? .50s will not do much to the front hull.
