so it brings me back to my original question.  where are the fricking guns mounted?  nose? gunner?

Ko was armed with two .50 caliber machine guns in the nose, a 20mm cannon in the belly and a rear mounted 7.92mm machine gun.
Otsu was armed with the same nose gun package but the 20mm cannon in the belly mount was replaced by a 37mm cannon.
Hei had the .50 cals removed in the nose and replaced with a 37mm cannon.  The 37mm cannon that was in the belly mount was returned to a 20mm cannon in the belly mount.  Some Heis had oblique firing 20mm cannons mounted behind the cockpit and the 20mm cannon in the belly mount removed.

I was kind of sad that this plane didn't make it into the in-game poll but, I also knew it wasn't going to make it to that poll anyways.   I still hope to see it one day.
