Both a/c when at max throttle exceed what is listed on the E6B under MIL power. I don't know if its a guage bug or the E6B data is wrong.
With the A6M2 it shows 2700 rpm in cockpit when E6B states its supposed to be 2500 rpm MIL.
With the A6M5b it shows 3100 rpm and +390mm manifold in cockpit when E6B states its supposed to be 2700 rpm and +300mm manifold MIL.
Unless the extra ammounts are for a kind of "war boost" setting for combat? Although thats odd because the A6M3s #s match ok guages to E6B. So my inclination is to think there needs to be a remapping of something.
Just thought I would mention it.
Forgot to add and this is very minor. The A6M5b climb chart shows its listed weight as slightly less than what it actually is with 100 fuel in E6B.
