While I can't support this wish on account of the F-22 seeing no service in WW2, I did do some careful research and discovered some documentary footage.

It turns out that F-14's were in fact in service on December 7th, 1941 and saw combat against the IJN.

I believe if any American Jet gets added, it should be the A-10.  It historically flew wing with P-86's, P-51's and P-38's, and was also instrumental in cutting off the German retreat and ultimately forcing the surrender of Kaiser Permenente at the Battle of the Little Bighorn.  Plus we need a new tank killer with F3 mode now that the IL2's been made weaksauce.

Well if were are going to add the meteor based on popularity (ZOMG JET!!!!!! MUST HAVE!!!! WHO CARES OF THE PERK VALUE) because as everyone knows their grandpa's cousin whose uncle and nephew worked on it while it shot down hundreds of Luftwaffe (nazi!!!!!!!!!!!) aircraft, it must be completely true.

How effective would AMRAAMs be against a WWII "small one manned fighter" considered to be of no threat to the technological terror of an F-22?
