The more i play the more I think there really is something about perk planes that make you disco  :bhead :bhead :bhead

I don't have the trouble I used to with AT&T internet now that I've ditched them and I have great internet. But I haven't landed a perk plane or GV in weeks now.
It's to the point where I will now refuse to up one because I ALWAYS disco when in a perked ride. Has this ever been looked into?

I'm not claiming HTC intentionally makes perk rides disco but I'm curious if there's something about them that can cause it.

Perk rides have nothing to do with it, just luck and your internet connection.

Yeah, it's the only game I own that discos like the 70's as well. If you are using a usb headset and win7 x64 bit then switch to a plug in headset. Also check the tech support side of the forum. they might just have a fix in there for you.

Are you disconnecting, ie: just losing connection to the game, or WSoD, BSoD, or "AcesHigh.exe has stopped responding"?

If you are just losing internet then it's just dumb luck. Anything else could be many different things going on with your computer.

Last time I thought I was going to disco in a perk ride was when firing the guns at a bandit from a B-29. Frame rate went to about three.

Who's fault is that?

The bandit's.
He shouldn't have come close enough to make you fire.

This is crazy, put on your tinfoil hat if you want, but the idea of "perked" planes disco'ing more than non-perked is silly.  Silly to the point where I have to wonder if you DO infact wear a tinfoil hat.

That being said, how would you assume that HTC would benefit from intentionally disconnecting you in those aircraft?  That is what you are asking after all.

Well you can tell
by the way I use my walk
I'm a woman's man
no time to talk
Music loud and women warm
I've been kicked around
since I was born

And now it's all right, it's ok

We can try to understand
The New York Times' effect on man

Whether you're a brother

you're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Feel the city breakin
and everybody shakin'

Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive
