AH has been out for what? 10-15 years or so?

BF3 JUST came out. Give it time, developers doesn't see every single little bug or glitch. BFBC2 used to be just as laggy and unoptimized, but a few patches fixed that. Same thing will happen here. EA and DICE spent a heck of a lot of time and money on BF3, why would they forget about it and call it quits now?

I can live with not being able to play 64 player maps for a couple of days.
i'm sorry but, you do realize the base coding for bf3 is the same as it was for bad company 2 don't you? the developer company did not rewrite the entire code for bf3. with every update to ah there are issues, that have to be fixed with a patch that usually comes within days of identifying the problems yet you're going to wait weeks without so much as a grumble. let's not forget, the developers for bf3 have a much larger staff and bigger budget to work with, shouldn't they be more capable of putting bug free product?

Their game is also gigantic compared to AH. They use new graphics that hasn't been put to testing at all or a lot.
As for waiting "weeks", I'm not even sure if it would be that long, like you said, it's a big company, I'm sure they'll get a patch out within 7 days or less.

Every single game has bugs and glitches, all it really matter is whether or not those companies fixes those bugs, and seeing how huge BF3 is (both in the numbers of players and designers involved), I have no doubt that these bugs will be fixed quite soon.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

nothing against you titanic but, if that were to happen to more than 1 or 2 people in ah...the screaming fits in these forums would be unreal, i've seen it. yet people have again paid $60 to play yet another buggy ea game just to get some cyber rank and medals.

how ironic...  :rofl   :lol   :rofl   :lol

Oh yeah but one thing I got to hand to EA. Without the free beta I would have probably wasted my money on BF3 - now I know it's totally unplayable at least.

I hope you are sarcastic because everyone know that the beta code was months old.

i laugh at people like this, who thought the beta was a demo, and with that mentality, thought the beta was the finale product.

I'm having a blast playing and haven't encountered any adverse lag (other than the regular intertardnet lag) when playing.  On ultra settings, the game looks fantastic.

And I laugh at you when you buy it and see that the beta was nothing but recycled BF2 code 'matured' for years and still not working.

Unplayable right now for me. Every mission in the single player so far has at least one spot that I get hung up in and have to restart the whole mission from scratch to get out of the buggy spot. In the one where you head out with your recon team to rescue Viper squad I can't get past the room after you cross the street. System played the Beta flawlessly but this one is banged up like a meth head cracker hooker with no teeth and a lazy eye.

The only issue I've encountered was flickering of the splash screens but that was fixed by alt+tabbing out and closing Firefox and only leaving the Origin launcher up.  I heard if you use the cloud saving feature it can cause some slight lagging during the auto-saves as the game syncs up with the cloud servers.
