cobain is a straight up dirt bag/loser cant stand him at all, read his autobiography... you'll change any opinion of that chump, to a very low one...he was a horrible musician...any body who thinks he and or nirvana are great has ZERO clue as to what good music is.

he was awesome..I think Jeff Tate is a little bit better though.

My favorite as you know is Robert Plant...but I have no issue with saying Jeff Tate and Freddy where Technically better singers.

I would say Jeff Tate, Bruce Dickenson, Freddy Mercury,  and the Guy from Flotsam and Jetsam..(Eric A K I think his name is)
 are "technically" the best of the best.
they have the absolute best range, can carry insanely long notes, at least 2 of them were trained in Opera Singing( I am sure you know which 2)

Robert Plant is right behind them though.

I always liked Rod Evans but Greg Lake was pretty good too,then let's not forget John Whetton.

  Quite a few names I cant remember........ maybe it was the fog!
