Salute all!!!!

Go check the special events announcement section!!!!

There will finally be a squad based only event series coming up! See how your squad measures up in the new Tour of Duty!!!

Again Your Scenerio Team brings something new and exciting to Aces High.

For those wanting more than the shoot em down Main Arena be sure to check out the other events being held in the Special Events Arena. Every week there are Snapshots on Friday and Saturday and Every Sunday come play in the Check 6 event. These will continue to get better each release as HTC continues to fill out our planeset. These events are held as Axis/Allies as much as possible as our planesets will allow right now. Every possible attempt is made to make it as fun as possible for all that show up.

Sounds great, but I'm not in a squad.

If there's a squad out there that could use an extra member for these ToD events, send me an e-mail! (edit ott@ipa.net) I'm not nearly the best pilot out there, but I do make a decent wingman, if I do say so myself. And since these events are going to be on Fri nights, I should be able to attend most all of them. (and I've never failed to notify my CO/GL/whatever in advance if I can't show up for a frame of something)

But just to be clear, I'm NOT interested in joining an MA squad (I don't like the MA). However, if I was to join an event squad, I'd be more than willing to spend most of my MA time flying and practicing with them.

It would be a shame for me to have to miss out.

Hey Anarky, My Squad won't be doing this (most of 'em have some kind of WB trauma), so if you want to set a temp thing up, I'll go for it...

one thing tho: right now im at home and a loser just workin for my dad and not going out or anything so i dont care its on friday nights. but in the future ill be back at school and goin out on weekends, mabye consideration could be made for us young guys who really should be going out weekends? having a semi mandatory event on friday nights might exclude alot of us young'uns. something like monday-wednesday night might be better?

i stay up late often for aces high, but i dont think it has ever made me get up early!

The TOD is a weekend only thing?

Count me out then, I barely made this past Saturday's Rumble.

The only time I get to fly is monday through thursday, otherwise I'm not even at home.

Right now the TOD will run Friday nights. This is a start up thing. Once up and running smoothly there may be a second TOD added for European squadrons possibly taking the place of the Sat. Snapshots.

Also being part of a MA squadron is not mandatory TOD. Squads can be formed with players just wanting to take part of the TOD for the SEA arena. Or hopefully MA squads will accept some outside membership for the TOD in the SEA only.

SeaWulfe I feel your pain bro. The problem is the largest #s flying is Friday night. The idea has been discussed of moving the displaced snapshots to early or mid-week to make up for the guys/gals that can't make a Friday night event.

Thanks anyway Rocket, you guys are doing a great job.

I look forward to future snap shots or check 6 events during the week nights, maybe I can actually get a chance to fly more of them than I do right now.
