VOX channels
« on: October 31, 2011, 12:04:04 PM »
 :bhead
I wish they had separate volume controls. I use the squad channel and the range channel. In a populated area, the range channel yap dominates the squad channel yap. Would luv to be able to adjust this. :x

+1 Would be nice for FSO - since we all tend to hang out at the same base we're going to take off from... so you cannot hear OUR plans vs the yapping in the tower...

Sure moving to another field is an option... but meh...

One more thing - probably get alot more feedback if you named this "Range/VOX Channel Volumes"

I wish there was a way to tune out the local channel completely in addition to the OP wish.

Or maybe a way to set a vox as "priority" above all the others.

Meaning, this vox will interrupt all others, and no other Vox can interrupt the "priority" vox when transmitting.

This actually easy. Use a squad TS server to com. Turn AH range channel down.
I was doing this and it worked great. However I was the server, sharing that bandwidth with the game????????????????????????????????????
So I went full AH coms, its a pain.

I did something similar. I got tired of seeing all the stupid things people do so I turned off my monitor for a few hours.

The Kanonenvogel had 6 rounds per pod, this is not even close to being open for debate.
