I want that bentley, it just says "saloon" but I reckon it might be a mulliner bodied continental fastback, very nice.

  Wow is right . I grew up and lived in Glenview for 30 of my 50 years
,majority of my family still lives there,even knew a Hartung
There is only a few places in town that the garage could be located.
The four acres in Glenview might be the most valuble single asset.

 Anyone been watching the auction. Doesnt seem to be any economic issues with the people
bidding. Group of 40 or so AZ. license plates went for $26,000 , 9 indian sparkplugs went for $45,000.
A mental tab of just the license plates came to between $250,000 and 300,000 .
1911 merkel =$175,0000...most of the rusted motorbicycles were going between $15,000 and $50,000
Probable 2,000,000 easy just from Friday.
 The guy had an incredible eye, and some deep knowledge of what he was collecting!

 Not bad for a scrapper! boy, if ya got to do it all over again to heck with college and business.  lol

I'd imagine there will be a price list available, also i think there is a downloadable 16 page
brochure at the americas auction site, has alot of the highlights.

My dad lived in glenview and flew A4s out of NAS glenview.

He found some pictures in the archives before they tore up the place of the japanese version of the ME163 stored there.

Glenview was pretty cool and he lived in a converted barn that Robert Conrad's dad ran a broadcast radio station out of years earlier.

 yea, grew up just a few blocks east of Glenview Nas, as kids there was always something going by,
late sixties early seventies there would be sonic boom every now and then.
 I would always schedule a round of golf at the Glenview Club in the early 90's on the saturday of the Chicago Air and Water Show.
 Its about mile straight south of the then runways, (now gone ,high end homes and shops) best seat in the house and would get 18 in. :aok
