WW1 Arena Can Be Really Fun!
« on: October 31, 2011, 05:24:49 PM »
I was bored with the hordes in LW this afternoon.  I logged out of the arena, planning to actually get some work done.  Well, I noticed that there were several people in the WW1 Arena.  I hadn't been in there since the Dr1 adjustments, so I decided to check it out.

There were 3 guys winging together on the Knight side.  I, and the other Bishop, got together and we had some pretty darn fun 3vs2 fights.

After awhile, several people left and it was just myself and a guy named Ordy.  I switched countries so we could fight.  What followed were several long VERY fun fights.

Here's the film from the first one.  It isn't a display of any great talent or anything like that.  Just a really fun, 4 1/2 minute fight.

One thing I found, even when we were nose to nose and firing, the HO's weren't very annoying.

Big <S> to Ordy, I enjoyed our fights very much!  Hope to do it again soon!

If you haven't been into WW1 lately, you might want to check it out again.  It can be really really fun!

Dr1 adjustments?

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought I had read about some corrections to the Dr1 performance.  I could be wrong though.

I recall HT saying a while back that they were looking at making some adjustments to the gyro-beast, but I never heard if they followed through with it or not.  I still think they could make WW1 succeed to a far better level than it has.

I hope they do.

I like playing in there.  If there's 6-10 people it's a lot of fun but that only happens about 5% of the times I log on.  Still I check to see most times I'm on.  If there are I'll jump in for a few flights but not if there's only 1-2.  I just dont want to kill or be killed by the same person over and over.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Seems it didn't affect the Dr. much. Still utterly dominating the arena. :uhoh
