Russian poor mans bomber.

Lisunov Li-2.

First off I am under no delusions that this would be nothing other than a pig in AHII so lets get that out of the way.

That aside after reading a little more about this plane it may be a down & dirty way to get something in the form of a Russian bomber in to the game.

I have seen the posts about wanting an armed C-47.  Personally I would say so what its meat on the table any way you cut it if any fighter is about.

Icepack posted a picture of one carrying bombs :O in another thread. That was a first for me I did not know they did that so I dug a little deeper.

Here is some photos & stats & see what you would all think about adding this as a bomber version only & of course the option for formation's as well.

That is all I have for now. I think it is a plane that could be added using our current C-47 as it's template.  With some additional programming it would be a quicker way to get some sort of formation Russian bombers in than starting from scratch on some other plane.

The goon may finally get some teeth.  :aok  :D
If your gonna fail, do it in such a way that people will be wondering how you managed to do that.

If it cant be fixed with duct tape, it cant be fixed at all.

Uhhh....goon only mission?  :huh

Bomb the town then capture it with 2 players.  :noid

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

That is a possability with the load out options.

The war was over before the Russians could get the cannon version Li-2 in to the war.

They were not defensive guns either.  :aok
