Everyone picks to a degree. It's just part of the game. There are certain people who will only ever pick, and run when confronted with a fight....those are the ones that I don't understand. Think what you want about DrBone, but I have never seen him run from a fight.

  Just now, he ran from my 109F while in a 190D. I had no cannon rounds and an oil hit. Pinging him from D600 was getting boring so I turn around. Thinking maybe this guy (didn't know who it was yet) was bingo fuel or ammo. What does he do? Turns around and starts chasing me. He shoots me down while I had a dead engine with all  his guns still firing. Don't know how anyone can get a fight from this guy. Not to mention he had speed, alt, and his planes outclasses mine in every way possible BUT turn.

Pathetic.

DrBone is one of the few guys out there who'll jump in just about any bird and have a fun time.  I enjoy going up against a plane and not having a good idea who it may be.  You see an F4U4 or a P51 or K4 or P38, and you normally have a pretty good idea and a short list of whos flying them.  All of a sudden a Yak-9T is stuck on your butt and you find out it's DrBone... what can you do?

It might be interesting to find out how many pilots in here fly the majority of their sorties between just 1 or 2 aircraft...

I read recently in the book "Zero" by Masatake Okumiya and Jiro Horikoshi that as the war progressed Japanese fighter pilots became increasingly upset at the ever improving US fighters because the US pilots would only engage in dogfights when they had a clear advantage.

This so very pissed off the Japanese guys......
