That isn't Flyboys. One of the things the makers of Flyboys did to allow watchers who couldn't tell insignias apart was have all German fighters be triplanes.

On a different note, already downloading this movie after seeing just this clip.

This isn't Flyboys it's a complete different movie. You're spouting without knowing again.

Oak I bought it last summer, it's pretty cool in that they did some good work recreating the paint schemes on some of the famous German WWI aces.. Other than that I don't recommend it much.

Way off from being Flyboys.  As Mr. Shifty said, i agree with him on the skins.

The trailor makes it look great. The movie is just lacking something, but watch it by all means. It is entertainment for prop nuts.  :aok

Must be the love part like Peral Harbor that you enjoy. :D

I am not much for great Hollywood work. As long as they make great effort on historic aspect like the correct AC and skins, I am happy.

Very good movie, very good graphics, and unlike flyboys it's actually historically accurate.

Storyline could have been better though.

If you see planes of the same era does not mean it's the same movie.

"The Blue Max" is still head and shoulders better than both those movies and still is the top WW1 air combat movie ever put on the screen which is kind of sad considering that they made it in 1966. In some ways its better because they didn't have CGI ability and the real planes and models just looked better. I didn't much care for "Flyboys" (too Hollywood) but I thought the "Red Baron" was worse by an order of magnitude. I can put up with telling a story based on fact and taking some liberties for the sake of the screenplay but the innacuracies reached the point of being offensive. That and the movie just wasn't well made. It did have some real nice planes though its just too bad thats all it had. "Das Boot" of WW1 air combat movies it ain't.
