So having never played battle field, is BF3 worth it and will it be easy (relatively) for someone to pick up? I used to play medal of honors and call of duties back in the day and have the latest medal of honor...

Is BF3 mainly a online game? i know their is a campain, but do most just play online?

I just got a new tv, and was thinking about getting it as it seemed like it might be what im looking for in a modern (not future) military game sort of along the likes of AH...

If you like very large maps and more squad oriented gameplay, play battlefield, if you want an arcade game that goes pew pew and the average person lasts less than a minute each life play COD. This is coming from a former COD fanboy.

I've been playing BF last few days, and I'm hoping that starting tonight a lot of these COD guys will get COD and leave BF. Most games I've played in BF so far, all my team mates are just going for high K/D's and completely ignoring the objectives.

what ever you do dont get MW3 it is the same as all the others no difference I wasted my money but I hope to save others the trouble.

I have BF3 as well the campaign is ok, but I love the online.

Even tho im gonna be called a console fanboy for saying this, Try to get it for ether ps3, or PC, not xbox. The xbox version seems to have alot of bugs with it that are lacking on the other two versions.

For those of you who have BF3:

Mortars? I see videos of people using them but I dont see any post or video that shows a playable class that uses mortar as his primary weapon...they seem to be instead fixed-to-the-ground devices players can 'man' (like BF2 let you man AA missiles and AT missiles).
