my neighbor has an 010 cts, but his is only a six banger. he loves the hell out of it. my aunt has an 09, with the same responses. i don't think either of those interiors are plasticy.

People can like or dislike what they want. But a caddy doesn't feel nearly as nice on the interior as a merc, bmw or audi.
I love the exterior of the CTS (the styling is cool), but I don't drive around looking at it from the outside all day.

They like to pick on America, they also like to pick on every other country they mention.  Lets not be like the Mexican ambassador and complain about it like we're being singled out.

I'm especially fond of when they make fun of Germans.

 but here's the difference.

 at 50k miles, when the owdi starts breaking, the cadi will still be going strong. at 100k miles when the bmw starts breaking, the cadi will still be going strong. mercedes smell funny inside, but i haven't experienced them breaking as the owdis and beemers.

That's right cap, those german imports are undependable junk and aren't worth the money.  The only reason so many are on the road in the US is because topgear likes them.  The cts is pretty much the best sedan ever made but no one knows it yet but cap.

 i go by what i see. i constantly see audis start breaking around 50k miles. i can't stand audis, and will never have anything good to say about them.

 i like bmw's, and if i were gonna buy myself a euro car, it would be a beemer. but the fact is that i see them do their impression of audis at around 100k miles.

 i don't care for mercedes.....no real reason, i just don't care for them. i also never see any major problems out of them. that's why my only comment about them was that they smell funny inside. 

 almost forgot.....although my neighbor, and my aunt like their cts's........personally........th ey look like someone puked.

You should see some of the CTSs around here. I have seen 2 black ones both touting 800 RWHP. Nice n drivable too.

My favorite insult may have been when Clarkson was testing an Audi and couldn't get the trip odometer to work.  He mentioned that this is especially bad because it was installed by a German, who will be shot at dawn for his mistake.

 yea, but then to make themselves feel better, they compare it to something stupidly expensive....that still only makes 400-500hp.

 or, if any of you saw when they had the 2009(or whatever year it was...it was the older style), when they'd go through the hammerhead, oversteering, in the mustang, they're "all over the track". when it's one of their beloved mercedes, or audis doing the very same thing.....it's more like "look at the control of that car in the hammerhead!" i think they did the same thing with the corvette, and camaro. they just do not like american stuff. or they're seriously jealous of it.

The basic Mustang is crap. Clarkson actually likes the Mustang as long as it is a proper one like the Roush version.

LMAO. Why would they like American cars? Lets take a look at the list above;

mustang - They gave a good review
camaro - is built on an Australian chassis
corvette - the one they were given to test literally fell apart within 5 laps
cadillac cts - just doesn't compare to it's competition -Audi A4 and BMW piss all over it in every department.
dodge challenger - is pooh

Seriously. No-one cares about American cars in Europe. They use too much gas, are poorly made and cost too much.
