Can i get some help here?
« on: November 08, 2011, 10:00:54 PM »
I need some help, im not going to state why, i cant take it out into the general public, its just not something that should be shared with people that dont have a clue what its like to have this happen. if someone could PM me that has a bit of counseling experience that'd be nice. life is starting to fly right into the cow crap about now.

You can PM me and I'll try what I can to help out. No professional degree, just almost 3 score years on the planet.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN

You're much better off finding someone to talk to, face to face. Maybe a school counselor, a church representative, scout leader, a teacher, etc.

Asking the general community in Aces High for help with a personal problem is akin to jumping into a warm ocean, full of sharks, after you have cut yourself shaving.

Tell this to AWmac or Banshee.   They would disagree.   Especially mac.

If I were you I wouldn't trust anyone on this forum (or any other).

I disagree. Those people don't work for you and are not your friends, very high possibility that they'll stab you in the back.

Sorry Del,

Got to disagree with you on this one.  I've gotten plenty of help or just someone to listen to me when I've had personal problems and done my fair share of listening to others.

Often friends can't give the best advice, because they are too close. If you are in trouble, a more distant point of view can be much more helpful at times.  :old:

Please note I said 'general community', which excludes squad-mates and such.

Recently, a squad-mate in the 80th Headhunters literally was able to increase my insurance claim with advice to the point I got a new roof and kitchen out of it.
