OPERATION DOWNFALL PART TWO
Operation Coronet


At great cost, the allies have captured Kyushu and are preparing to invade Shikoku and western Honshu. For the first time in the Pacific war, once defeat was imminent, Japanese forces quickly retreated rather than fight to the last man. Japanese naval and civilian shipping was pressed into service to evacuate miltary forces from Kyushu. Abandoned towns and villages suggest prior evacuation of the civilian population.

Intelligence suggests the Empire will make it's final stand on the island of Honshu.

Intercepted Japanese transmissions contain references to "secret weapons"

Allied objectives: Capture Shikoku and establish a foothold in western Honshu.

Axis objectives: Defend both Shikoku and Honshu and retake Kyushu.

There may be other developments during the week.

Is it possible to give 119 to the allies and only allow b29s to use the air spawns from there?
The air spawns from 122 take almost 45 minutes to reach target.

Allies will have to capture it if they want to establish a B-29 base there.

Tyrannis, I think that'd have to be a coordinated effort.  Long C47 flight too.  Or, walk up the coast.

Engine temperature gauges are off in this map for the p38.  always in green no matter what I do including wep fulltime.  wep falls off, engines still in green...

I have 2 funny videos somewheres of when i ran into him in the MA. First was his f4u Hoing my p40, then claiming he never even shot at me.
The other is me having 3k alt advantage over his f4u, he made a HO pass attempt, it failed, pinged him a bit, and first thing he did was run for home. An f4u-4 running from my p40F

Figured as much.  Looking at his rank he is the definition of a score potato pilot.  He probably does not like the Pigs On The Wing filling the arena when he is busy milk-running or capturing undefended fields.  Typical  "I am afraid to die and when I do it's someone else's fault" player.
