We can't have V1's because some idiots didn't vote for the Meteor... so we don't have an anti-V1 plane to take them out with.

What we do need is the guided Air to Surface Anti-Ship missiles the Germans had...  Screw getting in the puffy.

Not arguing for the V1 as I think it would be useless, but the following aircraft already in AH downed hundreds of V1s:

P-51D
Spitfire Mk XVI (substitute for Spitfire LF.Mk IX)
Spitfire Mk XIV
Mosquito Mk VI
Tempest Mk V

Admittedly they were using 150 octane fuel for higher boosts, but they are the same aircraft.

The V-1 was a UNGuided missile we can destroy the towns and other places with them (of course if they don't get shot down)

*here are some stats*
they can cost perks to launch from the skis too <*added late

the V-1 was fired from "ski" launch sites < we need those

Speed: V-1's Argus As 014 pulse jet engine needed a minimum airspeed of 150 mph

If this was added it will be like aceshigh2 in WWIII  :devil :devil :rock

Having the V1/V2 to hit an enemy capital may prove to have SOME merit.  Having a mobile V2 platform just to hit a Capital or a base's general area MAY be fun to some folks.  Then you have those that would go hunting for the mobile launchers.  A fixed one could hit the Captial or bases.

This idea might indeed have merit ... The Capitals and Mfg Centers in the arenas don't get the strategic attention they deseve and their influence COULD have interesting effects on game play ... Make the V1 available from (or near?) long range bases, make it hard to locate and a small target, CHARGE perk POINTS to launch it and AWARD perk points for shooting it down ... it would require some fine tuning (of cost?) to balance it's use, but could be an interesting facet of the game ???  :headscratch:

Yup. Bad guys tended to tow them around Dutch towns, launch from there.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Some people are making the mistake that the V-1 was inherently inaccurate when that wasn't entirely correct.  Yes, it was inaccurate but not to the point some describe in this thread.  It wasn't due to its inaccuracy that caused it to miss large portions of London, that was actually the result of XX Command (British Double Cross program) that was sending false BDA reports from "German agents" in London back to Berlin.  This caused the Germans to adjust the gyroscopes on the V-1s, thinking they were on target and this caused a large number of V-1s to hit less dense areas of London or outside of London.  If the British hadn't turned the entire German spy network in England and falsified the BDA reports, the V-1s would have caused more damage and a higher loss of life.

atom your a close freind  of mine and all the time you say "aces high 2 is just boring now" or they should add *insert somthing we dont need or never went into squad strength* and then i would play. so saying you have had a account for 3-2 years but only fly mabey 1 hour a month. so 36 months *1 hour gives you only 36 hours of play time. i dont say thats a long time
only a moron would use Dolby positioning in a game.
