I am surprised noone pointed out that your (2) PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots are not TRUE x16!  one is X16 why the second PCIe x16 slot only operates at x4 .............. most times when one runs into this situation when they go to do SLI or Crossfire ( depending on NVIDIA  OR ATI VC's )  both PCIe slots will downclock to the lower slot's speed........... in this instance  both will run SLI @ x4

now, I am going on past research and experience and have not personally or thoroughly gone through and read up on this particular MB you have ordered

just thought I would give you a possible heads up..........

You might be better off using just the one  PCIe2.0 x16  slot that is TRUE  x16 capacity and forgoing the use of SLI  and the 2nd slower PCIe slot.........  unless the MB allows both slots to work at their maximum capacity.......

but you still will only be getting around 1/4's worth of performance of the 2nd video card if this be the case.....

best of luck to ya,

TC

All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC

I run a single GTX 560 ti on my x-58 pro-e board. Graphics max I see 60 FPS which is the limit for my monitor anyway. Maybe I'll hook it to the 46" sony with 120hz to see if it goes faster.

Out of curiosity, why get two 560's?  For that price you could almost get a single 580.

Also, if you can get your hands on a 2600K instead of the 2700K, you'd save a few bills for the same chip.  The 2700K is simply a multiplier bump from the 2600K, which is silly considering both are unlocked and very overclockable...

Do you require a micro-ATX board?

I have the 2500k right now and it is OC at 4.5 and no problems. Also you definatly want to go with a full sized ATX board due to "bricking" your graphic cards.

Here is the current MB I have and i have had no problems with it.

And a larger power supply is needed for what you are putting into it.
This one is a little expensive but you have more than enough room to "upgrade" if needed.
