What is your opinion on the drones?

I personally don't like the idea of sharing airspace with computers, and flying should be done by real pilots. However if they save lives than they are well worth it.

Interestingly enough, although I trained for years to kill people and break stuff with an F-15E, I'll probably end up killing more people by remote control than I ever thought possible/probable, except of course during my brief period qualified to open up canned sunshine.

       I am very curious to how that has happened?  How does it make sense for the Air Force to put millions of dollars of training into you to fly a Strike Eagle, and then thinks it is better for you to have more money spent to fly UAVs?  I am not criticizing or trying to stir up a response just curious.  Or was it a personal choice to switch out of Jets?  I know that you had recently been a trainer.  Has the Air Force downsized the amount of F-15Es?

I apologize in advance for the seeming disregard for structure in the above statement/question.

Prodessional Pilot. I prefer my bonus in the form of money rather than considering compensation as a bonus.

Unlike eagl I fly with the express purpose of not killing anyone. Thanks to him and others who serve/have served for shouldering that burden so I don't have to. <S>

I said that because there are those pilots that don't like flying and just do it to make money.

You mean there is an age limit for working?
I know some jobs require you to be a certain age, for example you can't be a bar tender at the age of 15, but there are jobs that you can do at 10.
