While it is possible to kill a Maus with a Sherman's 105, it's very unlikely it was taken 1v1 and lost unless it was a bot. Also, that map sounds like Himmelsdorf.

I had a good bit of help for this one, but man was it hilarious:

Hint: That's a VK2801 (Tier 5 Light) with those kills. :P

the map was Ensk. but what gun are you using on that hombre? the VK2801 already does tier 10 some trouble, but my god.

Ensk, Himmelsdorf, whichever. I saw "Train Yard" and though of Himmels. :)

Both have Train Yards on one side or another:

I use the short 105mm on the VK2801. Load 85% worth of HE and they all fall soon enough. Bounces plenty at an angle on the Maus but when he has other T9-10s to worry about the 2801 can get the perfect rear shots.

the 105 your talking about, is the one that i 1-shot StuG's and M4E8's with on my Hetzer, that thing is a BEAST. thing is, its pretty hard to get behind a tier 7/8 with the hetz.  :bolt:

if you can flank just 1 tank with a T95 and NOT be seen and have them fire at you, then you are freaking good! :lol

I am in 1st Flame Warriors, run by Bodhi.

Clan Wars is the end game. When the game was new, there were Clan Wars with lower tiers in them.
Not any longer.
That means gold ammo, the right consumbable mix, and the best module mix for what you intend to do.
Actual land ownership on the world map is the goal and there are few who just give it up.
You have to go big or go home.

The good news is .. its not all about Clan Wars for most of us.
Some call it a grind while they progress thru the tiers .. I just enjoy blowin stuff up.

I like runnin my M3 Stuart with the 20mm ..it's a *blast*
(and besides, the Ghost says I'll win .. LOL)

I also enjoy runnin my PzIV in late Afrika Korps gear ..the 75 with the small turret.

My E-100 with the 150mm .. oh my.
BOOM Hiyadoin!!

..and so many others .. all fun and learned a bit of the history on the way.

-Frank aka GE (ya, they only made two type 95's, neither of which saw combat .. among others)
'The better I shoot ..the less I have to manuever'
