regardless of the COUNT or MEASURE... you still got to keep rhythm....... it is the same  rhythm =  beat ........ ,

TC

You can't keep the rhythm you can only keep the beat.  Rhythm != Beat.

you said the exact same as I did.........  :headscratch:

we are just looking at it from a different view I guess, same as wilbur  & myself were.....

cheers

Let me be more clear "!=" means does not equal.  Rhythm and beat are not the same nor will they ever be or have been.  Rhythm is not the same as the beat ever.

ok this is Burger King, have it your way  :D  I am not going to argue the point anymore

edit: but please do show me where  "!="  means  does not equal!  please.......  you lost me there.........  I let that go right over my head if many others knew the meaning of "!="

edit 2:  rhythm = beat , = measure = count or = count = measure..... all in the same to me .......  not counting or disregarding riffs, fills, bridges, etc......

Which one? String, or electric?

I know they're both string, but one requires more skill than the other. ;)

Electric.

BTW, there both the same, if you can play one you can play the other basically.

One is fretted, the other isn't. One has a bow, the other doesn't.

It's like saying that if you can play the snare drum in a marching band, you can play a drum kit. Sorta, but not really.
