  As an aold timer who has been playing this game for years now, I have to agree with riener on this. The CV in general is meant to be an over the horizon attack vessel, by using shock & awwe. But do to game restraints it has to be brought in close to launch LVT's.And in this respect it also helps the newb see what he is shooting @ with the 8". ALot of time I will work a missio from just out side the dar ring and sheel the base. but just as you hit the inside of the dadr ring you seem to always get that one individual who wants to up or itt on the deck! which of course tarts the enme panic! I do agree if this is being done deliberately it should not be tolereated by HTC just my thoughts on it

Alpini13  continues to give away Knight cv's      he sits on the deck of a cv doing nothing     this effects the gameplay of MANY people     this shouldnt be tollerated    imho

500 miles may not be exactly accurate, i was just saying that to be general in making my point.   reiner is an advocate of hiding CVs once a port has been taken, a "tactic" i, and many many others, find to be gamey and underhanded.

Hiding CVs is gamey as well, I agree. Many times I would try to bring them out only have half the country to call me an idiot. But like I said, this was not the case when we were using them and alpini called it out.

You won't trigger radar if you're sitting on the carrier deck. You have to take off to do that. UNLESS you're inside a fields radar in which case you're just misusing/abusing the CV system entirely and deserve to have the enemy tipped off.

I really hate responses like this. I see people talk about how task groups never got as close to shore as they can in AH, ect ect... I was watching WWII in Color on TV tonight and the Americans had ships a couple miles offshore shelling Iwo Jima.. So I don't see why claim that they never got that close.

well said chaser    and yes krusty  if someone is on the carrier deck they will show on radar if inside the radar ring  isnt the radar 65ft??  and in that case i believe the carriers deck is higher than 65ft   200 ft for dar bar    this has been completly abused Alpini only in order to upset a number of players that enjoy using cv's to strike   ill say again   by him doing so ONLY in order to upset players is harasment and therefor should NOT be tolerated by the AH community
