why do we have people giving cv's away??

Alpini13  continues to give away Knight cv's      he sits on the deck of a cv doing nothing     this effects the gameplay of MANY people     this shouldnt be tollerated    imho

I really hate responses like this. I see people talk about how task groups never got as close to shore as they can in AH, ect ect... I was watching WWII in Color on TV tonight and the Americans had ships a couple miles offshore shelling Iwo Jima.. So I don't see why claim that they never got that close.

My 2¢

Actually this event happened twice. Once when the CV was shelling the factories down in Bish country. The cv took aproximitly 8 hours to navigate hostile waters undetected, to arrive with 2 Crusiers and a full complement of support vessals. I logged off, but got hit up with what went down over the phone calls I got.

The second event, Involved a CV I was in control of. Which got me riled up to say the least. I got pretty heated on range, and may even get the smakc down by Skuzzy for it. It was true that all he did was sit on the deck, and flash the base we were prepping.

Now Alpini used to be a member of (+) Precision. When I spoke with later about this action, It seems there is a disagreement Between him and Reiner, and the action was to get a rise out of him. Well He did to say the least, except it got me involved also. This is an internal issue and will be dealt with, one way or the other. This thread will probable get locked and ritefully so. That is all.

Look at it this way, once the first shot is fired from a task group at either an "HQ" or a base it is no longer a "secret" so some one sitting on the deck to get the base flashing works out to be the same thing as some one at the base sounding the alert. Personally, had some one asked me to get off the deck I would have happily done so. I would much rather have a 10k alt cap over the CV to hit incoming buffs any way 

You may "THINK" the game is all about sneaking up on an HQ to drop as much as you can, or steal a base with out anyone showing up for defense. I and many other "THINK" its about combat and look forward to a fight.

hiding cv's is smart play towards winning the map....  if you cant understand the logic behind that, its a good thing i do an even better think that i outrank you    

side note to this is no matter how many i save, somebody always runs em back to certain death after i log 


and fugitive, you can fire cv guns till ur blue in the face, the enemy field will never flash unless a friendly ups a plane or lvt(be it in the air or just sitting on the deck).    then, if its a field we're at, it would flash but not show a con on dar.... but who cares, they'll find the boat once the field starts flashing dot or not.

So is ratting out missions..but if we did that, then we would be denying others of fun wouldnt we?

I can understand the point of not wanting to give the other teams the tools to attack feilds. It amazes me that HTC would allow folks the privelage to deny others the tools needed to promote interaction with other players.

Sitting on the deck just to get a base flashing is no less lame than someone ratting out the cords on 200. But lets see if they get a mute/ban for that

maybe in your estimation, but sitting on the deck is NOT ratting it out on 200, so you may just have to deal with it, it's a condition of the game!   no different than the scorepotatos hiding CVs
